About this market
ContextThis market refers to the 2024 American League Wildcard game in the MLB Playoffs between the Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles scheduled for October 1, 2024, 4:00 PM ET. If the Kansas City Royals win, the market will resolve to “Royals.” If the Baltimore Orioles win, the market will resolve to “Orioles.” If the game is cancelled or postponed past 11:59 PM ET on October 2, 2024, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball (MLB.com), however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
How trading works

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
