About this market

Context

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Clarence Thomas is formally impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives by 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2024. Impeachment is defined as the House passing articles of impeachment with a majority vote against the sitting Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. If Thomas is not impeached by the specified date and time, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be official announcements from the U.S. House of Representatives or a consensus of credible reporting.

How trading works

Resolution

Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
