About this event

Context for traders

StubHub ($STUB) is due to IPO on September 17, 2025. This is a market on StubHub’s market capitalization in USD at the end of its first day of trading. Market capitalization is a measure of corporate size, and is calculated as Current Shares Outstanding * Last Price, expressing the monetary value of all outstanding shares stated in the pricing currency. For the purposes of this market, it is equal to the USD expression of the official closing price of StubHub’s primary listed common equity on its first trading day, multiplied by its basic outstanding share count effective at listing. The relevant closing price is the exchange’s official closing price at the end of the regular session (typically 4:00 PM ET). The resulting market capitalization will be recorded to the nearest million, using standard rounding. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Resolution will be based on the primary exchange’s official listing page. In the event that those figures are not displayed, another reliable source will be used. If the listed IPO does not occur on the scheduled listing date, this market will remain open for 45 calendar days. If the listed IPO has not commenced trading within that period, this market will resolve to “Other.” In the event of any interruption to the course of the normal session on StubHub’s first day of trading (e.g., due to a circuit breaker or a half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published, this market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that as the first day of trading for purposes of this market.

How trading works

Polymarket uses a central limit order book (CLOB) model — you can buy or sell shares of any outcome at the current market price, or place limit orders. Prices represent implied probability: a $0.65 contract means the market prices a 65% chance of that outcome.
